Iowa outdoors inspires and invigorates
By Jan Clarke
From its scenic overlooks to its stunning fall colors, Iowa's natural beauty attracts visitors year-round.
Immortalized by Grant Wood, Iowa's landscape has long been an inspiration for artists. Gently rolling hills, prairie grasses swaying in the breeze, forests stretching as far as the eye can see, magnificent bluffs, powerful rivers, and serene lakes-all can be found right here in Iowa.
Be inspired or invigorated: it's your choice!
Take a leisurely hike along one of Iowa's trails. Iowa has an extensive trail network, from urban green space to popular state and county parks to state forests. Many of Iowa's trails are multi-use trails, supporting a variety of activities, such as hiking, horseback riding, and bicycling. But the fun doesn't stop when the snow falls. In winter, get energized! Take to the trails with cross-country skis or snowmobiles!
How about water sports? We've got ‘em! Iowa's abundant lakes, rivers, and reservoirs offer bucketloads of opportunities to get wet and have a blast, from canoeing, kayaking, boating, and fishing to swimming, waterskiing and jet-propelled boating. So, pack a picnic, fill the coolers and bring the friends and family!
And don't forget golfing, camping, birding, and hunting: We've got it all!
Whether you come to Iowa to find peace or get pumped, you'll find what you're looking for in Iowa's great outdoors.

Hello, i’ve been browsing around your site and it looks really really neat. I’m building an automotive home page and struggling to make it look good, everytime I touch something I mess it up. How hard was it to build your site? Could someone like me with no experience do it, and add update pages without wrecking it every time?
