- Finding something fun or interesting to do in Iowa is simple if you have internet access. Since you’re reading this, you’ve got what it takes.
Look around iowa.com or search our iGuide for one of your favorite things: amusement parks, art, bicycling, boating, caves, dancing, festivals, fishing, garage sales, Grant Wood, hiking, motorcycles, movies, museums, music, opera, orchestra, race cars, restaurants, running, shopping, skating, skiing, sports, swimming, trails, water parks, zoos. (You get the idea.)
You could find yourself on a roller coaster in Altoona or Arnold’s Park one day, celebrating one of Iowa’s many strawberry festivals the next, and admiring great works of art or picnicking in a local park after that.
Pick a place in Iowa that you might like to visit and search that name. Chances are you’ll find the town’s official website and a calendar of activities. Who knows what you’ll end up doing? Probably something fun, and maybe something you’ve never done before.
